ARTISTIC STATEMENT

I’ve been writing since I could draw batman adventures for my little brother. As a dedicated writer, my career begins with short stories in the 1990’s writing continuously in various formats to the present. My chosen field is Speculative Fiction, including science fiction, fantasy, horror, alternative history and mystery.  I view Speculative Fiction as a literature of metaphor which, through the guise of storytelling allows us to view the world and each other in unconventional ways, providing challenging insights into trauma, morality, mortality and desire. My nonfiction work is also driven by media and cultural relationships to speculative fiction.
